Order in the Court...2

I remember sitting in a lecture hall at Uni and thinking, someday I would save the world. I would rid the third world countries of their poverty and no longer would I allow us to live in societies riddled with violence.

Of course then reality set it and reminded me that before I saved the world I had to save myself from student loan debt. It’s been ten years and you would think I would at least be halfway to saving the world, maybe own a hero cape or something. Truth is maybe the firm I work for does good things like help smaller economies with building projects and such but me, I just sit up here in my office. My humanitarian efforts are contained to dropping a few dollars in the open cases of musicians on the way to work. The contract I’m holding probably does some good; it will give a man with a lot of money even more money and maybe just maybe some of it will be spent on fresh drinking water for children in Africa?

Maybe I’ll join a charity group. Oh wait, those require time and I work 50 hour weeks…

i DEFINITELY like this one way more than the prequel

it flows much better and its very funny in a dark humoured way

    i like it….....wow thats crazy

  • from Alexa ♥:

There were some grammar issues (I know, I’m a grammar snob), but I still like the character. She’s very easy to relate to.
