Thirst.

The heat was almost unbearable, and the slow camel didn’t help much either. I looked through my aviators and smiled, I was finally doing what I dreamed of doing my whole life. I was journeying through the Sahara Desert.

I was alone and hoping to cross the desert to the city of Yamha by sunset. I knew if I didn’t get out by sunset, I would be doomed. As I looked down i thought of what the camel was thinking, heres my guess “Stupid humans, why cant they walk through 99 degree heat?” I got a small snicker out of that.

I reached for my water and was devastated when I saw there was only 3 gallons left, and one was for the camel. I decided that I am more important and I did not give the camel water, for this was a truly bad mistake.

It was 3 o’clock in the afternoon, and I had no idea where I was going. To make matters worse I found the reason there was only 3 gallons of water left, there was a crack in the jug. I did all i could to plug it. Just then, the camel collapsed.
