He wants to play a part in the stranger dance with no respect for what could be right. Stealing the whole show in that last dying scene and no one can see the two sides to his pure vanity.

He’s been watching his friends move away for years and doesn’t anymore care. All wrapped up in nothing, just a one heartbeat from this side danger. A picture for you and a picture for me and the question has been erased.

Be sweet to each other he says tarring up inside feeling the slow black envelop. He looks inside the truck for his bottle of gin underneath the makeshift cooler where he keeps it in and finds a picture of you and a reminder of where he let his life end.

He leaves the cold and his boots, he leaves in his black heart machine…
