Jacob and the Cake

The cake his mother gave him for his birthday was bland. While in her presense he did his best to stick to just one piece and the second his guests had left he stuck the remainder of the chocolate monstrousity in his microwave to be forgotten.

Jacob didn’t have a cat yet something was sitting on his chest. Slowly, he opened his eyes and tried to focus on the blurry intruder. It was his cake and something wasn’t right.
