Jake Brown Road, WEIRED New Jersey

Jake Brown Road. The name creeped through my mind. “Don’t go there.” Many voices ran through my mind. It’s that Frued thing, you know angel, devil on your shoulder. That sorta thing. Part of me is saying “GO! Take a risk, you’re good at that fool!” The other side saying, “NO! DANGER ! KKK? GHOSTS ?” I’ve heard many stories about Jake Brown Road, but I decided to go anyway.
I wasen’t poor, but I wasen’t rich ethier. I lived alone, and I didn’t mind that. I had enough for me. I got into my little station wagon, and drove near the road that was calling my name. I stalled, I thought why not smoke a cigarette and gave into my addiction of fear. My station wagon idling just at the opening to the road. I inhaled and exhaled slowly till I got to the filter. Finally I had no excuse but to go in I drove up slowly and saw the fence where in ruins was a sign on the ground. ‘DO NOT ENTER UNDER PENALTY OF THE LAW ” the fence looked like it was crashed into so there was a clear path.
I entered Jake Brown Road on a dark night
