Ocean Chase

The steady rocking motion of the ocean waves were interrupted as three crimson and white speedboats, identical to my own, appeared on the horizon. I cursed and took a last glance at the jet fading away, then gunned the engine the way I had seen the guards do it before.

My boat cut a line through the waves, zig-zagging in and out of rising and falling seawater. The steady whine of my pursuers only enhanced my fear. I followed the path of the jet, still, though, as it grew smaller and smaller. I willed it to slow down, or maybe for the boat to speed up. I decided on the last idea instead, seeing as it would bring me closer to the plane and get me out of the range of the heavily-armed guys behind me who wanted to kill me.

Unfortunately, they were in range as of yet and opened fire. I ducked in the cabin while bullets slammed themselves into the windshield. I smiled at the irony. Bulletproof.

“Filthy vamp!” I heard them shout. I raised my eyebrows. Some new racial slur? I sped faster.

You have GOT to keep this going! it’s amazing! i love vampire stories, and this is definitely not just another twilight; it’s something new and i really really think it’s great. Hope you keep it going! And i AM afraid to sequel your “junk”; i could never write as well as you do, it would just ruin the story.
