We see bad things on national t.v.
We see bad things on mtv.
We see bad things in music videos,
we see bad things on people’s clothes.

We hear bad things from music today,
we hear bad things from what people say.

We know these things are morally wrong,
so why does our country feel the need to go along.

Will these bad things affect me,
or brand me on what they think I wil be.
Will people look at our whole generation,
and think what is becoming of our nation.

Or will people be able to see the good in me,
Like so many people have yet to be.
Yet to be good, and morally right.
Not trying to be cool, or “outa sight”.

Will our generation be branded by few,
or can we each shine,each one, by the things we do…
