Bleeding Red - The Story of a Team That Changed a Kids Life

Curve ball,Swing,Miss. The Phillies fans booed as the players left the field. Then again, booing has been a custom the last 6 years. The 2015 season was over. The crowd piled out of the stadium, all with sad faces. But one face was particularly sad. It was the face of David Fabri. He bought the tickets off a man from the street, for he would be alone at the stadium. He slowly walked back to his family’s apartment. He looked at his watch. 11:34. His dad wouldn’t be back till around 2 or 3. He woke up the next morning, and turned on the tv in his room. Flipping through the channels, he breifly passed the news channel. For the 2 seconds he was watching the news, he saw enough. Enough to send him bursting in tears across the room. Enough
to see him bury his head under his pillow. Enough to find out his father had died in a car accident. The news went on saying “At 2:30 this morning, a drunk driver by the name of Joe Fabri, died in a devastating car accident.”
