Right before she dropped she glanced back and mouthed “Sorry.â€?

The February air was cold and crisp and all she had on was a thin blood stained T-shirt and jeans.

Aiden took a deep breath and turned to Becky who was still staring stunned at the open window. “Look, Becky, I really had an awesome time tonight and this wasn’t how I planned this but…â€?

“It’s okay, Aiden,â€? she broke him off, “I understand. You should really go after her. It’s late and she doesn’t look to good.â€?

“Aww, thanks Beck! You’re the best,â€? he sighed relieved.

“Yeah, I know. You just owe me now,â€? she chirped as she leaned up and kissed him on the cheek. No matter how much he wished, her kisses never felt as good as the soft touches of Xailey’s fingers.

“Let me walk you out,â€? he offered as he guided Becky back to her car. Getting into his own, he could think of only one place Xailey would go.
