Ponderance

There are two things you only get one of in life.

Life itself.

And true love.

You only ever find one true love, if they happen to be inaccessible, or don’t love you back, that’s your own darn fault.

Though this could get me kicked out of the Presbyterian Women’s Club, I’m starting to think that hell is repeating your life, or possibly someone else’s, over. Except, of course, you don’t remember anything from this life. Hopefully a few things are different, though, so you have another chance to find that love.

Because if you don’t find that love, you’re incomplete, and you don’t escape the cycle.

I don’t want to lose what I’ve got, but it looks like there’s no way not to.

I think that might be my fault, since I’m not willing to give up my career, or my favorable climate, to live where he wants. And yet I continue to ask him to do the same…

Maybe I should just give in. Yeah, it’ll be difficult, but no more difficult than life without him.
