Dropping the Bomb.

The rest of the day dragged on. I couldn’t wait for tonight. My last three hours were the longest of my life. Finally, the final bell rang. I sprang out of my seat and bolted to my locker. Forgetting my com twice, I stood there stupidly. I knew getting home wouldn’t make him come any sooner. Why am I rushing?

When I got home, I threw my bag aside and pulled out my newest addiction out. Ploping down in my fuzzy chair, I got comfortable. Reading was my favorite pastime.

I fully imersed myself in my book. By 1 a.m. I had read some 300 pages. This book would be done with shortly. Luckly I had my “secret stash” waiting for me.

At 2 a.m. the knock came. It scared me half-to-death. I hadn’t heardhis knuckles on my window in far to long. Putting my book down I grabbed my coat. I climbed out onto my roof. It had been a while since I last came out here, and even longer since he had been here with me.

“Blake, I’m so sorry…” I started.

“Save it Aea. I’m here to tell you I’m engaged.” He said bluntly.
