I feel inclined, like the rest of Ficlets, to write a challenge.
Write a story about an interaction with a character you’ve written about and one (or more) of your favorite character(s) from literature.
Challenge yourself, try to make this person from a different era than we are in now. (Try to make it more than 40 years ago)
Try to keep the voice of your fictional character as close to their speech patterns as possible. It makes it all the better.
Have fun!!
Feel free to write multiple stories. There are some excellent fictional characters out there!!
Judging will be some time in February—let’s say February 16th. You can have a month.
