hardtoexplainmyownfeeling's kiss challenge (part 2)

“Wow, you are crying.” He said.

“No! I’m not!” Her voice broke as she said it.

“What, you call that not crying?” She turned around, a tear going down her cheek. He wiped her tear with his finger. “You call that not crying?” He said softly.

She wanted to tell him. She wanted to let it all out, to someone who would understand. But he was the only one there. Normally, she would never think he would understand. But now, maybe. Maybe.

“It’s just, she doesn’t get it. She doesn’t…”

“I know.”

“But…”

“She’ll come to her senses. Really. I’ve been there, remember?”

And she did remember. He had been there. How could she have forgotten? But was still him. He had never been nice to her, why start now? He seemed to know what she was thinking. But he didn’t say anything. Instead, he just kissed her. He wanted to say a thousand things, but he couldn’t. She understood.

They pulled apart. Maybe she was making a big mistake. But maybe not. All she knew was that he was sincere, right now.
