Pt. 1 of Moonlight Nightmares

The darkness cries
The land is cold
The air stops breathing
The tale is told… *
A white hand reached around the door, flipping the light switch. A dim, dusty bulb cast a slight glow to all the metal plates which encased the tiny room. It illuminated the thin, scraggly figure hunched over in the corner.
“Are you ready yet?” came a thin hiss.
“Never in my life.”
“Don’t worry, your life won’t be here much longer”
The clicked with the echos of one last hiss and the remnants of the maniacal laughter.
