Another day, another sundown, Luna sighed as she packed away the textbooks in her locker. She remembered the new transfer student, Abaddon Chekkov. What a weird name, Luna thought. He was tall, with jet black hair and thin, thin glasses. He looked like an athlete, and his eyes were dark and forbidding. Luna didn’t like the feeling she had around him.

Suddenly, she felt a powerful grip on her neck, and she was banged into the locker. Luna was staring into Abaddon’s eyes.

“Don’t try to act normal,” he spat, his voice dripping with venom.
“What-what are you doing?” Luna choked. She forced his hand off.
“Don’t play dumb,” Abaddon said. He pointed at her; “Wolf!” he declared.
Luna was stupefied. Who the hell was this guy?
“I’m sworn to fight you-all of your dirty kind! Our families have been enemies since our clans were founded!” Abaddon stared at Luna murderously.
“Look bud, I don’t know who the hell you are, or what clan you come from! Keep a distance from me!” Luna growled.
