The Jonas Robbery Part 6: Kevin The Protector

I didn’t know what to do or say. I thought we were all going to die right then and there.

Nick’s eyes were shut tight and he was sweating. “How can I help?!” I frantically wondered. No idea of how to save Nick without getting myself killed crossed my mind. My heart was beating so fast it hurt. My stomache was in a knot and I felt as if I was going to throw up. How else are you supposed to feel when you’re in a life or death situation?

Just as the man was about to pull the trigger back, I heard a terrible pound, and he fell to the floor with a thud. He had dropped the gun about a foot away, and he was unconcious.

I looked up to see Kevin standing there, holding a can in the air, staring at the man on the ground. His eyes were wide, his mouth open, and his face as white as a ghost. He dropped the can, his hand shaking. Kevin looked around at all three of us.

“I-I didn’t know what else to do.” His voice was reduced to a whisper.
