Here on this beautiful sun-shining day, I think of how you took the rain away. Made me smile, made the trees bloom but now we sit here and you say I speak doom. This is such deja vu, me sitting here crying to you. It’s so funny how you can swear I’m wrong when I swear you don’t care but you never asked me if I thought it was fair. I’m not arguing or being difficult, I’m just pleading my case. I know you wouldn’t have said the same things if you were looking me in the face. I’m not blaming you or saying our demise was your fault, I’m saying that you changed in 5 hours and filled my open wound with salt. I’m not mad, I’m not sad. I’m simply through with loving you.

Ouch, sounds rough, but I like the defiant sort of stance in the last line, recognizing that the other person has changed, and it’s time to just move the heck on! You have a few run-on sentences that obscure your meaning, but otherwise it’s quite good.

Thanks. I’m working on that whole run-on sentence thing. I tend to continue without periods. lol.
