“The man is slowly becoming a husk of what he once was…”

“Did you think we didn’t know? Did you think we wouldn’t expect this?”

“No. It was completely expected.”

“I admit, I have become slightly against the project all the same.”

“It is unethical.”

“Ethics are not a part of this department, Dr. Kingsley.”

“And a sad statement that is, Dr. Wilhow.”

“Only to those who choose to accept ‘moral’ behavior. Only to those who see it as something to be followed.”

“It’s human nature, Dr. Wilhow. Are you not human?”

“Ha. That has been debated and surely discredited by many of my patients. Like I said, I choose not to follow ethics, and so they do not restrain me.”

“How far does that go? Would you shoot me?”

“Do you expect me to?”

“I must say, I am coming close to it.”

“Then it would not be a problem. Psychology, no?”

  • from Never Explain:

i get it, I’ll sequel soon.

  • from THX 0477:

Cold and calculating, just like the characters involved. Well done. Didn’t know this sequel was there, but I’m glad I found it. It’s a nice jump to a different point of view of the events unfolding.

  • from THX 0477:

Just so you know, there’s a sequel to the sequel, late as usual.

  • from Storykeeper of Fae:

Wow. But he must have had a reason in the beginning, right? Or is he insane and trying to make the entire world the same way? And how did Paisley come into mental captivity?

  • from g2 (la pianista irlandesa):

I like the temporary change in POV . This is so inhuman, it’s almost scary. The other scary thing is that it all makes perfect sense.
