Isolophobia

“Sir, I assure you that my daughter is perfectly sane,” Sora’s mother pressed.
“I’m not saying otherwise,” the doctor stated coolly. “I was merely asking a question.”
There was a tense silence; a small and unfamiliar voice broke it. “I was left…alone,” the little girl shuddered at the word. “I don’t like being alone,” a few tears slipped down her cheeks.

The doctor fiddled with his glasses.
He didn’t know why it broke his heart to see her so.
>< End of Flashback ><

Sora was jerked out of her reverie when a cold hand slipped around her neck.
“You really shouldn’t leave your neck bare,” a voice hissed in her ear. She tried to struggle away, but his grip was firm.
“Who are you? What do you want?” she asked again.
“Oh, don’t be flattered,” the voice snorted. “You’re just a little toy. Once I’m done causing Aysen some despair, you’ll just be tossed away.”
Sora’s predicament flew out of her head.
“What’s your business with Aysen?” she yelled, more confident than before.

The temperature of the room dropped.
