Nick disappeared for the rest of the day. He was long gone when I made it to the buses. I was sitting in my room when I just thought I heard his voice. I opened my window and there he was in his backyard with Joe. I listened in to see what was up with Nick:

“I think she knows Joe!” said Nick.
“What’s so bad about that?”
“Jessica knows I’m in love with her! This is serious!” Nick likes me? This was great!
“If she knows why don’t you ask her out?”
“I don’t know!”
Then, the doorbell rang. It was Katie, for sure. She would do anything to meet Joe.
“Well, I gotta go. Jess wants me to meet her friend,”.
“Wait! Will you ask her out for me?”
“Yeah, sure.” I felt so happy inside.
“YES!” I screamed through the window. I should of been quiet. Nick and Joe started looking around.I ducked and went to get Katie.
“Well, see you later, Nick!”
“Bye,”.
Then. right before I left the room I heard Nick singing.

“When you look me in the eyes, and tell me that you love me, every thing’s alright….”
