Little Girls with Plasma Torches

Michelle (Mick) Dubois, niece of Charlotte Dubois and teenage mechanical genius, was very irritated at the moment. She had checked herself out of her fancy prep school in the Northeast and hitchhiked her way back to Seattle where her Aunt was with the promise of some new toys to tinker with only to find that her designated workspace in the basement of the base was flooded.
Because Joe wanted a moat.
And didn’t look at the blueprints of the house before she set shape charges.
Now there was a helicopter floating by.
Mac, Al, and Oggie-the other mechanics on staff-stood admiring their boss’ handiwork forlornly.
Mac, being of a practical nature, grabbed a beer from the minifridge floating by and opened it against the cement wall.
“Well this ranks as one of the better stunts she’s pulled.” Mick remarked.
“Doesn’t even make a dent in your Aunt’s list,” Al shrugged.
“Not compared to the girl scout cookie incident.”
“Never seen anybody buy cookies so eagerly.”
“Pity she laced them with Arsenic.”
