Him

I was lying on the ground in the same position has he had left me in before. It had felt like days since I saw him last, or it could have just been hours. My mind was in a haze from lack of food and the pain in my head. I felt sticky and stiff, and the little light I had in my cell was too bright.I had been in this predicament for hours when I heard my door bieng unlocked and expensive shoes clicking on the disgusting floor.
‘I have food. Get up.’
It was him. His voice, low and like a growl, soft but deadly. I could disobey my interroggerator, but not his master. His master had become like God in the last…however long I had been here.
I got up slowly and saw that he was crouching down so I could look him in the eye. His beautiful silver hair was in a ponytail down his back and his white eyes, not even the most remarkable thing about him, were peering at me.
‘Eat,’ he commanded.
‘Why?’ My voice sounded croaky and scratchy. It hurt to speak.
‘Because you need strength to enter you new life.’
