She glared at him for one long moment, trying to get the DVD .Then, giving up,she went and sat outside on the 2 little stone steps that led up to the store. She tried to peek in the window, but Chris caught her and shook his head at her with a little smirk on his face.”OK, we can go now,” he said as he bounced down the steps.

She got up and ran after him, still trying to catch a glimpse of what was in the bag.”Ok, some basic places you’ll need to know,” he said, walking quickly down the street.”That’s themarket, you can get basic stuff there, bread, etc.And that place has the best Thai food.”

“Wait…you’ve never had Thai?”he asked, stopping to look over at her.”Ok, then, I’ll order some tonight. They deliver, and I have the number on the desk, so if you want some after this-and trust me, you will-then you can order it.”

“That,” he said, pointing at a dilapidated old building,”is a place you should never go near.Let’s just leave it at that.”
