Meeting the Limnade

Menog and Uh found themselves wondering whether or not Ninik knew exactly where she was leading them. They had been traversing through the forest for some time now with still no sign of the nymph. Yet just as any complaint they had was flirting with their lips they come upon the sound of water. Continuing on, it was revealed to be coming from a pool fed by a trickling fall, constricted by rocks and brush. Ninik stepped forward, surveying the calm surface.
Her eyes darted to the center of the pool, where the water began moving. A shape seemed to slowly emerge, twisting and rippling until it assumed a feminine, semi-human form. The being drifted toward a jutting-out rock and pulled herself gracefully onto it. Her iridescent skin reflected the sunlight slightly, making her shimmer, and her fluid, silvery hair fell from her face in long strands, flowing almost into the water. Shanasha smiled mischievously at her guests.
“I had word you’d be coming” she said, absently touching a bud of a tree, causing it to bloom.
