“I can’t frekin find it man. Oh wait here it is.”
That was when the mushroom-cloud blossomed into a butterfly of my own lifeforce. The grass was greener, and the air became carmel covered cotton candy that went down my throat like raw oysters. The vixen/delivery-girl who had lead to me this wonderful place, had only moments before been a disgusting embodiement of excess. Now she was a vexxing venus Demilo whose feet moved like kitten paws without making a whisper or wake as it crossed the sea foam green shag carpet. I remember her rubbing her seductive succubean hands on my pockets, before the underwater world i can only describe as falling in love, having an orgasm and standing up too fast, completely consumed me in it’s warm grandmother arms. Nothing in my life had ever been this aethereal.
“Did you find it doctor?”
“Yes i gave him the narcon shot, He just overdosed on too much dope for us to save him”
“I’ll never figure out why they do that heroin.”
“Call it doc.”
“Eleven o’clock exactly”

  • from Apostrophe :

    wow.. how sad.. he overdosed

  • from Mighty-Joe Young:

It wasnt sad for HIM he said he never felt more close to God. Is it tragic to die at the peak of your existance?

  • from OrangeOreos:

I wouldn’t call it the peak of his existence, and if it is, then that really is sad…

Just one more reason to show that drugs aren’t the way to go….

  • from Mighty-Joe Young:

“Nothing in my life had ever been this aethereal.” would you rather have that be the last thought as you crossover because everything that was gross had been made beautiful, or you rather starve to death because they pulled out your feeding tube. I would rather go out like Aldous Huxley than Terry Chivo and I believe this character agreed,at least while he was under the influence of the china, which by the way was the rest of his life.but, i agree with you in the opinion that drugs are the lesser path.

  • from OrangeOreos:

    That’s sorta what I meant…

I agree that it is really troubling that some people need a different world so that they can break out of their existence in this one…

No one should feel that need, but unfortunately, some do.

This ficlet does have a huge message.

    Great job.
