She sat and began tapping her toes on the ground, impatiently.

“Lacey, please relax. What I am about to tell you is not a bad thing. It’s just something i feel.”
“Well, what is it then? Please, Adam, don’t leave me in the dark anymore.”

Adam smirked to himself and thougth “Wow she is so beautiful I hope she takes what I am about to say well. I really do mean this.”

“Lace, I….I love you.”

Lacey’s eyes opened as wide as they ever had and her lips curled into a perfect smile.

“Adam, I have waited so long for you to say that. I love you too.”

The two of them moved closer and held hands
