“Why do you keep thinking about Matt?”
“No, I was just wondering, thats all! So, want to shop for prom dresses after school?”
I tried to change the subject. I guess it worked.
“Totally! Lets go to Forever 21!”
“Sure. Whatever you say.”
Just then Kevin, the star quaterback, and Paul, the captain of the basketball team came up to us.
“Hey Stacey! I was wondering if you had a date to the prom yet?”
Paul asked the same thing to Liza.
“Nope.”
“Oh, good. Do you want to go with me?”
Kevin was the star quarterbak and the most popular guy in school. He was also really cute! I usally would totally want to go with him, but today it didn’t feel right. Whatever, I was probably in a bad mood.
“Sure of course!”
“Cool, I see you around!”
