A Swift Getaway(part 5)

“That’s it Josilyn keep your toes pointed” I watched as a little five year old girl did an arabesque along with nine others. I tightened the bow on my skirt as the music went to a faster pace. I clapped my hands to the beat as they went into cope’. I lifted my head to glance at Travis. He stood on the other side of the barre eyeing the girls as they kept up with the music. The silver heart in my pocket burned with a fire that made my spine prickle. Travis looked up at me, his dark eyes twinkling. I couldn’t help it as a small laugh excaped my throat.

“Dinner?” I held a water bottle in my hands.Travis stood beside me, watching the girls and their mom’s leave the the studio. I looked up at him, imagining myself sitting in a restraunt by a candlelight, looking into his dark eyes. . .
I snapped out of my thoughts and looked away.
“Um. . .I’ve got some things to catch up with, maybe later.” I stood up without looking at him. I gathered my things and walked out of the studio hoping he wouldn’t follow.
