The next morning Jason and Channing came over and they went up to the attic. Gina showed them the chest where she found the journal and they began the search. They took everything out of the chest and spread it out on the floor.
“Woah this stuff is awesome” Channing said as he dug through piles of paper and books.
“Did he draw these things?” Jason asked holding up a bunch of sketches.
“I think so.” Gina said taking them from him. They continued digging around until they heard a car door slam.
“Crap my mom’s home, we are going to be in so much trouble if she finds us up here.” Gina said. They quickly threw everything in the chest and closed it.
“Hide” Jason whispered. Gina and Channing jumped behind the chest as Jason ran to the other side of the attic. They heard the door to the study open and Gina’s mom walk in. Then her footsteps stopped.
