I debated the best way to go about talking with my cerial without it looking like I was actualy talking to it. “How are you?”seemed to cliched. Bonjour? Did cheerios speak French? Were they made in China? How do you say hi in Chinese again??
...My brain was babbling.
I decided to ignore it completely. Maybe I didn’t get enough
sleep? That’s entirely possible. It could be a hearing-hallucination!
I tried to go for a spoonful again.
“DON’T EAT UUUUUUSSS !!!” my inanimate cheerios hollered. I moved my spoon near the bowl, not scooping up anything though. Just to see if they would react.
“DON’T EAT US !!!”
“Single minded little fellows arntcha?” I said.
“OUR LIVES ARE ON THE LINE . WHAT? DO YOU EXPECT US TO SING OUR A B C ’s???”
“Just saying is all..” I answered a bit embarrassed
That’s it. This is waaay too much for an empty stomach. I want food to eat, not food for thought.
I pushed my bowl off to the side and went to get the rice crispies .
