Residing Dreams (Chapter 118)

From the moment I had met her, I had always deemed Ms. Ledezma to be stern yet polite in a dignified way. My judgement of her were correct, yet something was curious. This realization was peaked on a sunny day as I roamed the many hallways. I didn’t attend camp on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays, so I was left to pace around the house. In the midst of my wandering, I walked right into Ms. Ledezma who was headed in the opposite direction. “Oh, I’m so sorry! I beg your pardon! I didn’t see you there!” I began. She didn’t look too angry, so I let out a sigh of relief. “That is alright dear. But in the future, be sure to pay attention to the world around you more. Then, you’ll avoid many accidents and collisions,” she stated. “My father used to say the same thing,” I mumbled, without really thinking. “So, what are you up to on a day like today? You should be playing with other children. Aren’t there any girls from camp that you’ve made friends with?” Ms. Ledezma inquired. “Not really,” I admitted.
