Residing Dreams (Chapter 120)

So it was on that wonderful night,
in which my tale was stretched out before me for the first time.
Something was calling me,
though it was far out of earshot.
Not even the keenest human ears could hear it. Only a few deep hearts could feel it. I got out of my bed by some odd inspiration. Perhaps it was earlier than I had imagined, yet the sky was unusually dark and intruiging. I have known from a very young age that it gets dark later in the summertime, though. The stars twinkled, and my heart sang a hopeful song. I pushed the flowery curtains open and said hello to the night. It was then that I decided to do some more exploring. Perhaps Ms. Ledezma was right. I had overlooked things.
