Synopsis of Our Lives Pt. 3

Keeping the group together was all that really ever mattered back then, but Cody took his trips and missed more and more parties. They had hung out every weekend in high school because they had so few classes together. His sad attendance record caused discord throughout the group, and was the first crack in the vast emptiness of the crevasse that was left after their friendship crumbled.
“I need to see my friends.”
“So what are we? You see us less than you see them”
“But it’s different, you don’t understand,” he would yell
“Because you wont tell me!” more yelling “even when you stay in town you don’t come and every time we speak, it’s ‘oh guess what he, who means way more to me than you, did while I was not with you”
“This is why I don’t come, all you do is complain”
“Because all you do is talk about them and get mad when you don’t understand the inside jokes and we don’t have the patience to recant every weekend you’ve ever missed!” she always ended screaming, while he always ended with a whisper
