Help

After a while, they stopped to rest. “Where are we going?” James asked her.
“I must find the door, first. Then, I will know.” Frisay answered vaguely.
“What door? I don’t know if I should go with you.” James squinted at her.
“You must!” Her face grew even more pale as she clutched his arm. “I can’t let them find me! Help me, please!”
“Look, Frisay, if someone is threatening you, you really should go to the police.”
“They can’t help me! You are my only chance!” Frisay started to cry.
“Okay, lemme just make another call…” James walked toward the river in the distance.
“Hi, yes. My name is James Gryllis, and I have an… unsavory character with me. ...His name? No, it’s a woman. Frisay Thomas. I don’t know where we are! She’s going on about me being the only one to help her… yes, thank you.” He hung up. I’m sorry, Frisay, you really were a dear. He began walking downstream, when he heard a plantive cry.
