It was a few weeks later when we heard that the owner, of the house we were throwing from, had died in his sleep and it was over a week before he was found. That explained the lights always being on but the real question in our minds was whether we had inadvertently killed him. Could the sounds of a handful of teenagers outside of his window caused him to panic and die? Perhaps the sound of an angry driver running past the house shouting “I’m going to kill you” was enough to do him in? Needless to say we resorted to other forms of mischief for the remainder of the year.

    Great story!

Okay, you shocked me with the start and then with their reaction to it. Sounds like some rampant guilt there. They’ll probably all need therapy.
