Another Comet Wish?

The man in the room spent the rest of the night working through birthday candles and shooting stars when the comet came around again, something else on the Comet Table.

He’d thought he’d been done and muttered a curse under his breath, walking over. “I’m getting too old for this job,” he said darkly, picking up another wish. He looked at it curiously. Another from the same area? Another from the same street, and about the same people? The wizened old man smiled and put this in the Yes Pile, replacing the first. It looked like that one didn’t need to be answered.
