Running out of options

Before I could think up an excuse, she gave a malicious grin and said, “Because you know, there are a lot of people who just love knowing what you know.”
The ball of rage was back. The treacherous little- Seeing her smile at the rise she knew all too well she had gotten out of me, I swallowed hard, put on my best fake smile and my sweetest, most innocent voice, “well why don’t you go see what I saw and then you’ll know what I know?”
Michelle turned away from me, flipped her hair and brought back out the grin, “because it’s so much more fun when it comes from you.” The rage returned, I charged. I knocked her to the floor but she quickly swung around and clocked me hard on the chin. Stunned, I got up off the floor. “You hit me!”
“You started it!”
“I started it? You’re the one who had to run your big mouth!”
“Whatever, you were talking crazy talk! I did it for your own good!”
“My own good?” I couldn’t stand to be around this traitor, so I did the only thing I could, I opened up the door.
“I wouldn’t do that.”
