City Under Glass

No one was sure how the city had come to be enclosed in the temporospatial discontinuity. It had just sort of—happened one day. People trying to drive their cars out of town to the west suddenly found themselves approaching it from the east. The sky was no longer blue, but a sort of inky black. There was still air to breathe, water to drink—it was coming from somewhere.

But for all its citizens knew, their city had been placed within some sort of hyperdimensional snow globe sitting on someone’s desk.

If they only knew how close to the truth that really was…
