Fin's Story

The next member of the group was Fin. Finnigan was tall as well, though not taller than Sven.

He had red hair similar to Red’s, though his was not nearly so bright and, though a little longer, a lot neater than Red’s uncontrollably messy hair.

His eyes were hazel, soft and understanding. Like June he was quiet.

Unlike June, he always had a smile on his face.

He had always been in the Orphanage, as long as he could remember. He didn’t remember his parents because the orphanage had just found him. He probably wasn’t even an orphan, maybe a product of some teen pregnancy, or perhaps simply unwanted.

But he didn’t like it, and he decided that early. And his mistake had been anything but accident. He’d been planning it since he was old enough to realize that he hated the place. Which was pretty early.

Every day when he woke up his first thought was about how he was going to escape.

Every night before he fell asleep, his last though was about how to escape.

He just needed the right chance.
