Enter King Nolard & Queen Peregrine

King N: Have the messengers arrived.
Q Per: Nay. But lo me thinks I hear them now.

Enter messengers Osbert & Ulric

King N: Welcome good sirs, what news from the front?

Osb: We are battle weary your majesty, for this war has been ragging these four years long.

Ulric: Many men we have lost in battle my liege.

Q Per: O pray thee fools, tis not yet the time for surrender.

King N: Send a message to mine enemy King Flavian of Una, for we must meet and settle our dispute amicably.

Scene II: The Battle Field

Enter The Duke of Norvale

Duke: Prepare my horse, get me my sword, woe to thine enemy this day.

Enter Lucius general of the Army

Lucius: The battle is lost my Lord, a retreat was our only recourse.
Enter Tobias a soldier

Tobias: Tis done.

Duke: Cursed this day the land of Zolar shall forever be.
