Penny sat down in the middle of the floor with a thick note book and a red ink pen and began to write. She didn’t know why she was doing this, besides maybe the fact that she was bored out of her mind, day in and day out. Nothing to do, noone to talk to. She didn’t know this man, but what harm could writing a letter do. Her first mistake, was beginning the letter with a lie.

“Dear Rodrick,
This is Natasha, responding to your most welcome and surprising letter. I think that it is very sweet of you to write to me to let me know how you feel. But Im sorry to say that I dont know very much about you. So if you are interested in continuing our correspondence, then I hope you will tell me more about you in your next letter. You have a very interesting name. Is there a story attached to it? Well, I guess this is it for now. I look forward to your response.

She folded the letter up neated, addressed the envelope and sealed the letter up.
