How one goes about it differs with every vampire. I personally take my prey from behind or the side. If you pull their hair, their neck is exposed and you can just smell the fresh blood pumping through their veins!
Contrary to popular belief, vampires do not ravage their prey’s neck and get blood everywhere. In fact, it is considered good manners for us not to spill a drop. We much prefer to have the blood in our mouths than on our clothes. You wouldn’t spill your soup everywhere before eating it, would you?
There are so many myths about vampires, all of them ridiculous. I was once strolling with Nicco and we overheard some people whispering about vampires. Naturally we didn’t need to strain to hear.
“First they bite you and spill your blood everywhere, then they rip off your head and serve it to the devil who they worship!” One of them said. Nicco and i laughed heartily and walked on. Can you imagine me? A 547 year old vampire in a 17 year old’s body ripping someone’s head off with my delicate hands? Hahaha!
