The Insane Knight Pillages a Village part 6

The Medusa stared at The Insane Knight. He should be stone by now, she thought. The Insane Knight returned her stare and, to the Medusa’s surprise, actually made her feel uncomfortable.

“Madam,” he said, “you have a staring problem.”

The Insane Knight, with a swing of his Imaginary Sword, took her serpent covered head off of her shoulders.

“Oh Dear,” he muttered, “I’ve gone and killed this lovely lady. I should really watch my temper.”

He walked over and picked the Medusa’s head up. Walking out of the alleyway, he noticed a guard patrolling the streets. He walked over and held up the Medusa’s head.

“Sir, I am afraid I lost my temper and killed this kind lady. You should probably arrest me.”

The guard made a motion to cover his eyes, but he was too late. He froze in place and his body slowly hardened into stone. Confused, the insane knight looked at the Medusa’s head, then back at the petrified guard. He shrugged and threw the head aside.

“I wonder where Tlod and that thief ran off to?”
