I find myself writing ficlets less and less. Perhaps it is because an overwhelming amount of ficleters do not take it seriously (I shan’t mention any names), and write stories like, ex. “The Day I Farted”. (Not sure if anyone wrote one entitled that exactly, but you catch my drift)

Perhaps it is because I have had a break through in several of my current books.

It certainly isn’t because I’m too busy. Conjugating several “-ir” verbs in French doesn’t take that long, after all.

All I ask is that instead of mocking the reason this site was created, you use it to better your writing, and/or showcase your talent.
