The green light shone through his car window as he tried vainly to restart the car. A shape emerged from the strange vessel in front of him, casting an odd profile in the light. Whatever it was, it wasn’t human.

And then, it was gone. The light dimmed, and the vessel – was it really a flying saucer? – had gone. Still scared, he reached for the key in the ignition again.

There was a tapping on the car door window. It caught him off-guard, but not as much as what he saw when he turned to look. Standing on the other side of the car door was a large, purple creature with three arms, five eyes, and a head shaped like the contents of a Lava Lamp. It was wearing a tie, but no shirt.

“Hello,” the creature said. “Would you like to invite the Great Prophet Wzzrylxba into your life?”

“What?”

The alien opened the car door and handed him a leaflet. It was called The Observation Dome, and seemed largely concerned with the Second Coming of Wzzrylxba and the great Party With Fun Hats that would take place afterwards.
