Autumn and Justin: Study Plans

The school wanted parental permission for students to have internet access. I guess so there were more people to blame if a student got caught hacking or looking at explicit materials. You had to have a parent’s signature to get your I.D. card punched before allowed to browse.

“No.”
“Neither do I.” I sighed.
“Really?!”
“Yeah, amazing, huh?” I smiled.
“I…Uh-huh.” He nodded. I knew he was thinking that as studious as I appeared, I must have internet my card punched, but really, I never used the school computers. I bet the teacher would be surprised too.

“I guess we’ll have to go to public library for research, unless…” I blushed. I realized I was almost inviting myself to his house, or he to mine. Did he?

“Um, yeah, library, sure.” He took my lead, but looked relieved, or happy, but about what?

“I can go anytime. Really!” I was hoping he would volunteer to drive, giving me more time to figure out his feelings for me.

“How ‘bout tomorrow? After school. I don’t work.” He suggested. Yes!

“Perfect!”
