Studies have shown that most parents divorce after a child has died. I would love to say that my parents have beaten those odds, but I would be lying. My parents ended up like the others, divorced two weeks after the funeral. Quicker then most couples.
Life after that was a wreck. No body was happy any more, and if we were, we were good at hiding it. Nobody thought we could smile after what happened. I was worse then my parents. My life was a mess, and I fell into a world of despair.
