I definitely agree. So, I’m going to do the smart thing. I won’t even try to top it. I’ll just keep on writing. If I top it, wonderful. And if that remains the best story I’ll ever write, so be it! I’m proud of the work I did on that. A couple of parts I found a little clunky, but what can you do, n’est pas?

I understand exactly how you feel. I know that same feeling of satisfaction that comes after a job completed, a job well done. But it’s always bittersweet for me – part of me wishes it wasn’t over just yet.
I’ll probably feel that way when my own little series is finally over. If I ever finish it! LOL
