Macy 12: Art Issues

And again he appeared, coming up behind Derrick. He clapped a rough hand on his shoulder.

“This is so not the place, Macon. Leave now unless you’re here to see art.” Macy began to walk away until she heard him.

Macon replied, “I am here for art. Watching you shake that…mhm.” Macy turned with her mouth open, but didn’t say anything. “Yeah, that’s right, no comeback.” And he strolled away, satisifed with himself.

Derrick sighed, “Sorry, I guess I should have said something.”

“No, no. It’s better that you didn’t, otherwise, a fight could start right here and now.”

“Oh sounds fun.” Macy laughed at him, her mood already light again. And Derrick wondered in his head if she was bipolar or something.

Macy challenged him, “So do you think you can take a tour?”

“Uh duh. No problem, lead the way.” He followed Macy as she weaved through the different works of art, stopping in front of a huge painting of flowers. “This is yours?”
Macy nodded, embrassed, as Derrick gaped on in wonder.
