The Trust Factor

“Listen,” I said after a bit, “I’m sorry for not listening to you, I guess I was just shocked about everything.”

“It’s not completely your fault. I should have told you about Nathan, though I didn’t so I’m sorry.” Hayley said.

“Yeah,” I said stroking her hair, “but I was a jerk when I should have trusted you.”

“Yeah, you kinda were. But you didn’t try to kill yourself over it.” She said.

“Maybe not physically, but mentaly and socialy? Yes, I was just about dead until I found your note. How did you write that anyway?” I asked.

“Free period, I kinda broke into your locker and stole it out, wrote the letter and put it back. You were in lunch at the time.” She said, “It was perfectly planned her a freak girl.” We both laughed after that.

“We will both have to work on the trust factor. And you are not aloud to touch a gold club for a while.” I said.

We laid there for a while and then got up and went back to my house where we dried off.
